Choose the correct simplification of the expression
um, wat expression?
sorry. I forgot lol.
I only have 3 left. can you help???
the answer is a.
my medal?
@ragooc Im sorry but that's not correct. The answer should be D (4x / y)^2 = (4x)^2 / y^2 = 16x^2 / y^2 http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=%284x+%2F+y%29^2
oops sorry but hey look at my question
i need help on the one i sent a few minutes ago.
@Notamathgenius
Try using this rule: \[\frac{a ^{i}}{a^{j}} = a ^{i-j}\]
It is A
thanks(:
@Notamathgenius How? http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/514e04e9e4b0ae0b658ae54c
How is not A, you take {4x}^2 which is 4x^2 Its not hard!
Oops wrong link, http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=%28a^6*b^3%29%2F%28a^4*b^2%29
That one you have to do on your won, if i did it you would have the answer. :P just replace X with a number and simplify it :)
OWN*
@Notamathgenius I thought (4x)^2 = 16(x^2) ? ;) http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=%284x%29^2
why the wink? o.o
No because it is not in the brackets with 4x. therefor it makes it go ALL AROUND as i call it. Haleyy I am hawt thats why ;D
ohhk xD
^_^ yep :P
help me pweaaase on that last one c':
\[\frac{ 4^2 }{ 8^2 }\] show how it simplifies
subtract 2 and 2, getting 0. so it is just 4/8 now?
