Write a ratio expressing the slope of line m.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u have to pick 2 points on line m and take the y's and link them together (as a corrdinate) and do the same with the x's. after tht, take those 2 new corrdinates and put them as a ratio ________/_________

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*as a corrdinate point

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1/3?

OpenStudy (radar):

The slope m, is a ratio of: \[\Delta y \over \Delta x\]

OpenStudy (radar):

for your line m, I see two points that appear likely candidates. (0, -2) and (2, 4) were they the ones you used to get the ratio? cause I get 3/1.

OpenStudy (radar):

From those points the \[\Delta y=(-2- 4)=-6\]\[\Delta x=(0-2) = -2\]-6/-2=-3/-1= 3

oh, yes i think i wrote it backwards lol ty :)

OpenStudy (radar):

Good luck with these.
