Anorexia is just a loss of appetite for food. Some causes involve refusal to maintain a healthy body weight or the fear of gaining weight. Others include psychological factors, environmental factors, and biological factors. One way to treat anorexia is through psychiatric therapy. Bulimia is is just overeating food. Some causes involve body image obsession or lack body control. Some of the symptoms associated with bulimia include depression or self-esteem. Yes, death may occur from either anorexia or bulimia, or both.
