Write the equation of the circle containing the points A(0, 3), B(3, 2), and C(2, -1). Show all work to receive credit.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have formulae to get this, right? the formula of circle is (x -h)^2 +(y - k)^2 = r^2 where r is radius, (h,k) is coordinate of center. you just replace each pair of (x,y) from the problem to that formula. you have 3 points, that means you have 3 equation with 3 variables h, k, r. solve for them, and put the results back to original equation of the circle to get the final answer. Hope this helps
