Triangle JKL and triangle MNO are similar triangles. What is the measure of side OM? 6 3 2.5 1.25

triangle

set it up as a proportion.

mathslover (mathslover):

@Joshuam1 . As the triangles are similar the sides would be set up in a ratio such that : \(\cfrac{JK}{MN} = \cfrac{LJ}{OM}\)

mathslover (mathslover):

You're given with \(JK = 5 \space \text{units}\) , \(MN = 2.5 \space \text{units}\) , \(LJ = 6 \space \text{units}\) and OM = n units

mathslover (mathslover):

So you have now : \(\cfrac{5}{2.5} = \cfrac{6}{OM}\) Can you just do it now?
