what are examples of no correlation

pooja195 (pooja195):

An example may be: 1. A person running and 2. The number of stars in the sky How much or little a person runs has no effect on the number of stars in the sky. Thus, they have no correlation. An example of something which is correlated may be: 1. The level of education obtained by the parents. and 2. The GPA of the parent's child. The correlation may be: The higher level of education the parents obtained = a higher average GPA for their child. So, someone may conclude, a child with higher educated parents will probably have a higher GPA than one with lower educated parents. They can be linked and so can be correlated.
