BLUE from electomagnetism, remember that the energy increases from red to violet... hottest and brightest starts will emit more of Blue light and look Bluish.. e.g., Sirius, If you are in North America, you will be able to see this star tonight. another is Regulus also visible tonight Beatelguese is a red giant .. cooler and looks reddish (also visible tonight) :)
