Mathematics 20 Online

s=1/2gt^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

solve for t

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

like this? \(s=\frac12gt^2\) or like this \(s=\frac1{2gt^2}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first one

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

ok, so you want to get \(t\) by it self, that mean you need to get the other bits over onto the left hand side to get the 2 over there multiply both sides of the equation by 2

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

to get the \(g\) over there, divide both sides of the equation by \(g\)

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

if you don't understand , just say. closing the question , and asking it again , is a little rude

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i apologize if you felt some way. did not mean it like that at all. i actually appreciate the help
