Don't know what you are studying but I'm assuming it is pre-calc and you are supposed to identify this as a parabola. Furthermore you are supposed to reason that the vertex of the parabola is the maximum point. The x coordinate of the vertex is the number of units and the y coordinate of the vertex is the profit.
