OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. earth’s orbital path B. earth’s rotation C. earth’s revolution D. earth’s tilted axis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When the Earth Rotates, the sun stays in place and the sunlight gets to each side of the Earth. This is what cause Dawn, Noon, and Sunset also referred to as morning, afternoon, and night. The Earth rotates and it gets different parts of sunlight. This causes Dawn, Midday, and Sunset. Does this help?????

o in other words b

earth's rotation is the correct answer. because as the earth rotaes different area's of the earth correspondingly get sunlight or become dark.

OpenStudy (dean.shyy):

Well, it should be known that the Earth is tilted and that gives different geographical temperatures when traveling on the orbital path. On the other hand, when the Earth rotates, the alternating patterns of night and day are seen. A good example to show this is if you stand in the sun and rotate your own body. You will notice that the sunlight touches only the body area where the sun can hit.
