Create an X and Y table for the equation y=3/7x+2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in the above equation x is an independent variable and y is dependent variable as it depends upon the value of x...put numbers in place of x to get the value of y..use such numbers for x so that you can avoid fractions, decimal value of y..can you do it or there is still some confusion??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

still some confusion due to the fraction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can get the value of y in fraction and decimals also but it will be easier if you avoid fractions..for eg.if you put x=7 in above equation you get the value of y=5..if you put x=0 then you get y=2..but if you put x=1..then y=17/7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its not necessary to avoid fractions..

okay thank you for the help

It's my pleasure:)
