The kinetic energy of an object depends on which of the following? A. the object’s mass and direction B. the object’s speed and mass C. the object’s work and direction D. the object’s speed and work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

option b is correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because look \[K.E.=1\div2mv ^{2}\] so 'm' here is the mass of of the body and 'v' is the velocity of the body is practically the speed.

OpenStudy (aaronq):

^thats the oddest way, i've ever seen that formula written... And it is technically wrong since you don't have brackets around the division, and so by order of operations it would be equivalent to: \[KE=\frac{ 1 }{ 2mv ^{2} }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2nd option.
