Does it seem like the internet-similar to banned books, music, videos, and satellite dishes-has a way of infiltrating even the most repressive societies? Does this tendency make censorship more tolerable in the short run?

Yes I agree. The Internet has taken a life of its own. Not and even countries as repressive as Cuba have been able to keep their citizens from getting a hand on the Internet.
