Please check my answer! When mixing a unique ink color, Ron uses from 0 to 99 hundreths of an ounce of each four different ink colors. Use the multiplication principle of counting to find the total number of different possible colors Ron can make. My answer was 39,204. There is an additional question. If the machine runs out of one color of ink, and only 3 remain, how many combinations are possible? My answer was 2,673.
