Use the correct form of "ser" or "estar" to fill in this blank: Yo ___ maestra. (3 points)

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

ser is used to define what your are; estar is used to specify how you are. When you say 'I am a teacher', which case is it?

Yo "soy" maestra is the answer.... "ser" is used when there are an attribute examp: I am tall.... he is smart.... etc the same is in spanish the word teacher is not a verb, for that reason there should be "ser".... also with the word "estar" try to used it when there is a verb or when you are concerning to a place... examp: i am running, he is at home, they are learning etc. the same happens in spanish... I hope have been helpful...
