w= (82.9/d)^3 Find the inverse of the model.
replace w by d . and solve for w you can get inverse
but in word problems u can't change the variables or you'll get a messed up answer
you must do that if you want to get the inverse function. even I exchange the variables but at the end up, I still have w =....something.
but i am trying to get d

ok, I don't know what are you studying in class about the inverse function. mine is: d = (12.9)^3/w^3.---> w^3 = (82.9)^3/d ---> \[w=82.9\sqrt[3]{\frac{ 82.9 }{ d }}\]
that is the inverse of original one. believe or not, depend on you.
