What type of correlation would you expect from a scatterplot of time you have traveled versus miles remaining until you reach your destination? strong negative strong positive weak positive weak negative

OpenStudy (anonymous):

depends on how fast you are traveling...

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Are you still moving at all?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it doesn't tell me how fast there going

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Well, then we'll need an assumption. Shall we assume this trip has been and always will be EXACTLY the same speed? As the trip goes along, "time you have travelled" increases. As the trip goes along, "miles to reach destination" decreases. Well, I guess we also need to assume you are actually headed toward your destintation.
