discriminant = b^2-4ac
quadratic equation of the form: \(ax^2+bx+c=0\) has a thing colled discriminant: \(b^2-4ac\) if disriminant is >0 , means there are 2 distinct roots if discriminant is =0 means there are two equal roots if discriminant is <0 means there are no real roots
