@AravindG
well It doesnt speak speak of poems anywhere
I thought the part where it said we could post our own work included poems. Really, it depends on your take on music theory. Technically, songs ARE poems. They are written in meter and in form, and have stanzas and all the qualities that poems do. Some songs are written in free verse, which means that there is no rhyme scheme - but it's still a poem initially. Once you add the music, it becomes a song. Therefore, poetry can be viewed in the same light. Poetry can be considered music. A lot of my poems are songs and vise versa, for instance. It falls under the category of "work" as Shadowfiend said.
hmm .. I also would like to know what others think about it ..Once one of the mods closed a poem I posted in Music Group and told me it goes in "Writing" Group :/
O_O What... Well... ahem... I was told that poems could go in music. I think it was rebeccaskell who told me? But I don't remember.... Now, let's see... @amistre64 do you have any insight on this?
how about instead of calling it a poem, you refer to it as lyrics? and try to attribute some sort of academia to the post so that it comes across as more schooly ....
