The sum of three consecutive ODD integers is 39. What are the integers?

I know they're 11, 13, 15.... but how do you get that answer?

Let x = the first odd integer.
x+2 = next consecutive odd integer
x+4 = third consecutive odd integer.
Add them all together and set the sum equal to 39
