Hi, Is there a shortcut to working out 6x6x6x6x6x6?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(6^6\) no shortcut

OpenStudy (andriod09):

what myko is talking about is called an exponent, which makes multiplying it's self a lot easier, one way yo ucan do is this: take \[6^6\] and then just break apart the exponent one at a time, meaning this:\[6^6\]\[6\times6\times6^4\] and then just work at it with two numbers until the exponent is gone! have fun! hope your day is splendid!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There is no shortcut besides \[6^{6}\] Even that takes a while unless you use a calculator. Sorry about that.

use a calculator ? (:

Lol what Andorid's doing is a trick of the mind... you'd think by the way it appears that it's a simpler way to do it, however you're doing the same amount of work regardless. But yeee just type 6*6 in the calculator one at a time so as not to mess up, until you have a total of 6 6's .... or....... go to this site and it'll do it for you http://www.rapidtables.com/calc/math/Exponent_Calculator.htm
