Lady Liberty holds a tablet in her left hand. The tablet is 7.19 m long and 4.14 m wide. If you made a scale drawing using the scale 1 cm : 0.75 m, what would Lady Liberty's dimensions be to the nearest tenth?

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

so you have meters...and you want cm it gives you a scale 1 cm = .75 m so when you have 7.19m to find the cm based on the scale 7.19/.75......=?

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

that will be your length

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

the same for the width....4.14m 4.14m / .75m = ?cm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

length = 9.6 cm; width = 5.5 cm correct?

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

correct :)
