Does the graph of the straight line with slope of -3 and y- intercept of -4 pass thru the point (-2,2)?

IMPORTANT LINE RELATED EQUATIONS TO KNOW AND MEMORIZE slope formula m= slope/ gradiant -- same thing \[m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\] standard formula \[Ax+By=C\] point-slope formula \[y-y_1=m(x-x_1)\] slope-intercept formula b= y-intercept -- in the form of (0,y) \[y=mx+b\]

you're given the slope and y-intercept of the graph, so you can easily find the slope intercept form of the graph. in order to test, whether (2,2) is on the line, you substitute that point into the slope intercept equation and determine whether or not it makes sense if it makes sense then 2,2 is on the line, if not, then its not on the line
