|dw:1364426784027:dw| find the mRF if m angle FNR= 38 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. 284 degrees B. 142 degrees C. 38 degrees D. 76 degrees @jim_thompson5910 can u help with these two?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Similar example: if 1 inch = 50 miles then 3 inches on a map would mean... 1 inch/50 miles = 3 inches/x miles or just 1/50 = 3/x

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

so you can use that to find the actual distance x that 3 inches represents on a map

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay for the first one I got B as my answer and the second question I got C

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

why B for the first one?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you know the distance on the paper map, it's 7 inches it's not z inches

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

z is the unknown distance in real life from point A to point B that the 7 inches represents on the paper map

oh haha I ment A sorry!
