Using a trinomial we can setup equations to represent how long (in seconds) an object can fly thru the air at any give speed, an example would be: -2t² + 1t + 1 = 0, where t would equal 1 sec. Now create your own equation in which would result in an object flying thru the air for 2 seconds.

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

well...lets just make one up...many possibilities -t² + t + 2 -(2)² + 2 + 2 -4 + 2 + 2 -4 + 4 = 0

Thank you very much!

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

yeah no problem...and remember there could have been NUMEROUS options for that....just needed to find one that = 0 :)
