okay....so you have some angle you dont know....but you have all sides to use.... so.....you know how you would use sin....to find a side length? here you would use sin^-1 to find the angle measurement you dont even have to use sin either....you can use cos...or tan .....pick which one you would like to use here :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay can u give me the equation to use?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

HELLO?

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

oh sorry...never said I had a new notification okay so we can use sin^-1 here sin is opposite / hypotenuse right?? so from angle A the opposite is 5! and the hypotenuse is 13 so you would want to do arcsin (same thing as sin^-1) of 5/13 which comes out to?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so whats my equation:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i can type it out on the calculator

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

so you would do sin^-1 (5/13)

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

p.s***make sure your calculator is in DEGREE mode! lol VERY COMMON MISTAKE

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dang I have a regular calculator, what did u get sorry?

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

lol no problem...I got 22.6198..... so rounded to the nearest degree would be?
