Look at it this way....an adverb clause is just like an adverb in a way that it answers the same questions. Adverbs answer the questions : how, when, where, and why. They describe verbs. Now look at your answer choices... Would any of these answer choices answer the questions how,when,where, or why ? Check out answer choice B. "in a body shop owned by his father". It answers the question "where ?". Your answer is B.
