The area is Pi multiplied by the squared radius . This is PI x 36 ( 6 squared ). Pi x 36 is 113.14 square inches . That’s the area of the pizza . How many slices are there ? Well the central angle is 40 degrees . 360 divided by 40 is 9 .So there are 9 slices . Kelly has one slice . It is one Ninth of the area of the whole pizza .One Ninth of 113.14 is 12.57 . So the area of her slice is 12.57 square inches .Each square inch has 30 calories . 12.57 x 30 = 377.133 calories .
