to check if you shaded in the correct direction...plug in a point that you don't have shaded...for example....try (0,0)

y > 3/2x - 4
0 > 3/2(0) - 4
0 > 0 - 4
0 > -4

is this correct statement?

if so...then the point (0,0) would be shaded......so that means that for YOUR shading.....should be on the opposite side :)
