HELPPP?(:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

with wat

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ \sqrt{80-4} }{ \sqrt{25-1} }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

simpllify ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1.779

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got\[\frac{ \sqrt{114} }{ 6 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah its the same thing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do you get it in decimal form

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first you find the square root of 114 then divide that by 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 1.77 is my answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well to be exact its 1.7795130420052......

sam (.sam.):

\[\frac{ \sqrt{114} }{ 6 }\] should be fine already

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so that is my for sure answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Remember when you simplify anything it's generally best to live it in an exact answer form. So 1.77 would be incorrect where your for sure answer would be \[\sqrt{114}\div6\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\sqrt{114}\div6\] = 1.77

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\sqrt{114}\div6=1.7795130420052......\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1.77 is my answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well i think u should round up to 1.78 or write 1.779

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No 1.77 is not your answer. Yes that equals that but that isn't an exact answer. So don't round up keep it at what i mentioned.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank you my answer is \[\sqrt{114}\div6\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes just leave it at that. that is the correct answer unless you are asked for a decimal answer. That answer is more accurate than just writing 1.78 or anything else as it is 100 exactly correct the way you just wrote it.
