Could anyone please help me solve this equation!!! Please!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ 3 }{ 2 }-\frac{ 1 }{ x-4 }=\frac{ -2 }{ 2x-8 }\]

OpenStudy (abb0t):

combine like terms on the denominator (greatest common factor). If there is none, just multiply the denominator. for instance: \(\frac{ 1 }{ a } + \frac{ 1 }{ b } = \frac{ 1 }{ ab }+\frac{ 1 }{ ab }\)

OpenStudy (abb0t):

Once you do that, you can "cross multiply" to solve for"x"
