In Huck Finn, how did Jim's experience on the wreck differ from Huck's?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know that Jim found I believe it was Huck's father on a boat, and huck had recently faked his own death which i am sure was a roller coaster of emotions for the two of them. I would say that Jim was more rattled by the experience as a whole

Huck's father was dead btw

OpenStudy (wach):

Well, one huge thing would be the differences in race between the two. That definitely impact their experiences, respectively.
