0 ≥ 2(0) + 6
0 ≥  6

is this true? 

if yes...then the shading would include the origin
if no.....then the shading would NOT include the origin

It's not.
0 is not greater than/equal to 6.
Your shading should be on the other side which does NOT include the origin.
