Solve the inequality 4x + 5 < 2x - 11

My answer is x > -8
Am I right? :)

not quite, but almost. You mind showing the work so that i can show you where you made ur mistake. Or better yet ill tell you where you made it. So it was in the inequality sign. Double check that.

4x - 2x < -11 - 5
2x < -16
x < - 16/2
x < - 8

The answer is x < -8
