A is out, yes. Now, normally, sines and cosines have their centre along the x-axis such is not the case for this one, where is the centre? That is to say, the average of the highest value that the graph attains and the lowest.

Yes, it is :) so it got a vertical shift of 1. That means it has to have a +1 somewhere. So you have your answer? ^.^
