In some small DC machines carbon brushes are placed at the Magnetic Neutral Axis and for that neutral axis required Brush Axis coincides Magnetic Axis. While in big machines carbon brushes are placed at Magnetic Neutral Axis which is also electrically Brush axis means both Neutral axis and Brush axis coincide in big machines. What can be the reason?
