What kind of help do you want??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

With this problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@viniterranova

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3x/(x-1) +2 = 3/(x-1) if you make the denominator of the left hand side the same u will get: (3x+2x-2)/(x-1) =3/(x-1) right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now move x-1 from lhs to rhs this term would then cancel out now u r left with 3x+2x-2=3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

simplify that and then solve for x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Take everything containing x to one side, then solve.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3x+2x is 5x moving -2 to other side, that becomes +2 2+3 is 5 now you have 5x=5 dividing 5 by 5 you get 1 so x is 1 did you get it @RH ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

YES!! THANK YOU very much! :)
