Simplify completely quantity 4 x squared minus 7 x plus 3 all over x squared plus 5 x minus 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just try once..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4x squared means ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now again problem arises, is it 4 x squared or is it (4x) squared..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but i dont understand. ive done everything else i just meed help on a few.and the equation is \[\frac{ 4x^2-7x+3 }{ x^2+5x-6 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not at all bad, GOOD buddy..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you factorize this expression: \[4x^2 - 7x + 3\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know anything of Factorization??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes but im just not good at it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Compare the two expressions: \[ax^2 + bx + c\] \[4x^2 - 7x + 3\] Can you figure out what are a, b and c by comparing?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a is 4 b is -7 and c is 3 right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Pretty right.. Look here a = 4 but in denominator equation a = 1 right??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, remember if a is not equal to 1, in that case we will multiply a with c.. So, as \(a \ne 1\) as a = 4 we will multiply it with c ie c = 3 \[4 \times 3 = 12\] Getting??

OpenStudy (nastech):

yes sir

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what is the final answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Comment on question which was discussed one year ago?? :P @icefire you are really firing.. :)
