Inverse laplace transform {s/(s^4+4a^4)} please help!!!

OpenStudy (jack1):

1-how much do you know about Laplace transformations? 2-Do you have access to a table of Laplace transformations (ie in your maths book)?

OpenStudy (jack1):

for example, do you know how to solve via Partial Fractions? (to get an answer that you can easily match up with something in your tables)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know the answer is this ((-I/8) (-1 + E^ ((2 I) a t)) (-1 + E^ (2 a t)))/ (a^2 E^ ((1 + I) a t)) but I just wanted a step by step explanation can you help with that please

OpenStudy (jack1):

yes, but like logarithms you want a table to convert it, and you need to be able to do partial fractions to convert to a form that you can use in the table

okay thanks a lot
