OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (jack1):

what part are you having trouble with?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2)x=2 3)B

OpenStudy (jack1):

we could just give you the answers, but it's probably better to teach you haw to get them yourself

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For the second one I got x=-5.5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which seems to be wrong :/ @Jack1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u should use Similarity here do u know how?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you explain? :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if u draw a line parellal to a line of a triangle that cross the two other line then it separate the lines into proportional parts in your shape FG is the parallel line that separate the lines then we have \[\frac{AF}{FB}=\frac{AG}{GC}\] then we have this result for that \[\frac{AF}{AB}=\frac{AG}{AC}=\frac{FG}{BC}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{1}{2}=\frac{3.5x+4}{3(3x+1)+1}\]

Thank you so much!!!!! @amir.sat
