Select the set that is A Union of these two sets. {b,f,h,l,x } and { b.h.l.x } The first two questions I Got Wrong... I am pretty sure your suppose to Match The Two with the same Letters ?
Here is the question.
the first one
Can you explain Why Its the First One ?
@SJOJ4552 >The first two questions I Got Wrong... When you wrote that, what did you mean?
well it combines the letters from the first series and the second series
and that's really all there is to a union
and you don't repeat the letters like in the 3rd one
"I am pretty sure your suppose to Match The Two with the same Letters ?" I am pretty sure that this is the intersection of the two sets." :)
@Directrix The first two questions Are the Same as this one i posted. I Matched both sets with the same letters and it was wrong
I see. That may be because you were doing the intersection of the two sets and not the union.
So are you suppose to match letter for letter ?
It's more of a combination
By "this" in my reply, "I am pretty sure your suppose to Match The Two with the same Letters ?" I am pretty sure that *this* is the intersection of the two sets." :) -> I mean that you missed the first two rounds of this problem because you performed the intersection of the two sets when you were supposed to do the union of them. Just my conjecture. Union is what the current problem is about. Put the sets together. If an element is present in both sets, write it only once in the union set.
