When a barrel of oil is burnt. How is that potential energy converted? What force was applied to get that potential to be converted? And when that PE is converted what force is being applied within a distance?
When fire is applied to fuel, a lot of stored energy is released. Lets talk interms of what force is applied! And what force is released excessively?
Friend i guess you asked how fuel is converted into fire. If i'm correct here is the mechanism. Fuel generally consists of carbon either in gaseous or liquid form. when fire is applied to fuel the bonding's present with in carbon atoms starts to break down and the electrons present with in carbon atoms gets away from orbits and jumps from higher energy level to lower energy level and also electrons starts colliding between each other, as a result huge amount of energy is released in the form of heat.
