Find all polar coordinates of point P = (9, 75°). Please explain???

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Every revolution will result in arrival at the same point.

OpenStudy (mertsj):

So let's just add 360 and 360(2) and 360(3) and 360(4).

OpenStudy (mertsj):

And since we can't list them all how about 75 +360(n) where n is any integer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And then would you also subtract since it can go the other way?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

If n is a negative integer, that covers it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so then it would be: (9, 75° - 360n) (9, 75° + 360n)?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

So if we just say (9,75+360n) where n is a integer that covers it.

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Because if n is -1 then we have (9,75-360)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that makes sense. Thank you!
