The intensity of A light L(x) that is x feet beneteah the ocean satisfies the differential equation dL/dx=-KL. From experience you know that the intensity of the light at 18ft below the surface is half that at the surface. You cannot work without artificial light when the intensity falls below a tenth of the surface light. how deep can you work without artificial light? Thanks a lot!
