angle A = 16.4 degree determine the measure of the complement to angle A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can anyone help me out please

OpenStudy (mertsj):

What does it mean....complementary angles. What are they?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got the answer but I used just 16 and not 16.4 so I did it like this 16.4 - 90 degrees = 73.6 degrees

OpenStudy (mertsj):

I think we should do 90-16.4=73.6 and that is the complement.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok and thanks
