Let u = <4, 8>, v = <-2, 6>. Find u + v. I really am so lost and do not how to do this at ALL!

Parth (parthkohli):

You simply add the \(x\) and \(y\) components.

Parth (parthkohli):

\[u + v\]\[= \langle 4,8\rangle + \langle -2,6\rangle \]\[= \langle 4 +(-2) , 8 + 6\rangle \]
