the area of a parallelogram is

\[A = b \times h\]

b = base, h = perpendicular height

area of a triangle is

\[A = \frac{1}{2}\times b \times h\]

b = base, h = height..

well both answers are wrong...

its the same process for both multiply base by perpendicular height...

for the triangle, halve your answer.
