\[49x ^{2} - 98 xy + 49 y ^{2} = 49 (x ^{2}-2xy + y ^{2})\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

square root the 49 and the quadratic equation and you get your answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@irkiz so A is the correct answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[(x - y)^{2} =?\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x^2 - 2xy + y^2 @irkiz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup. so A isn't the answer because you can square root the quadratic equation too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to be honest, the correct answer is not there at all since it root(49) should be +-7 not 7. But I would guess that the answer is B. Since square root of the quadratic equation also gives + and -

@irkiz thank you so much!!!
