OpenStudy (meilendurcer):

The formula v =sqrt 64h can be used to find the velocity, v, in feet per second, of an object that has fallen h feet. Find the velocity of an object that has fallen 75 feet. Round to the nearest tenth.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Plug in \(h = 75\). What do you get for \(v\)?

OpenStudy (meilendurcer):

.. 8.6?

OpenStudy (aravindg):

8.6 is square root h ....now multiply with square root 64 ie 8 to get the velocity :)
