Question

I have a question,I applied long time back for moderator status,I got a message asking to confirm my moderator rights from OS Staff,my question is,if I decline it right now,(since im busy meanwhile with my studies) can i be selected later again?
sorry i posted this late,others[hartnn,satellite,etc] approved it,but I'm not sure.Maybe in somedays?
